OPPO calls Find X10 global. The battery and software still depend on where you buy.

The October 21 launch covers two phones, but OPPO says battery capacity varies by region and some ColorOS 17 features have narrower rollouts. A UK review also found a high local price and no U.S. availability at publication.

THE SHORT VERSION

  • OPPO announced the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max globally on October 21, with sales planned for late October through local stores, retailers, and carriers.
  • The headline up-to-8,000mAh battery is not universal: OPPO says some markets use a 7,150mAh dual-cell battery.
  • ColorOS 17 features and pricing vary by region; TechRadar reported a UK price of £1,099 for one 12GB/256GB configuration and no U.S. availability at review time.

A global launch still needs a local listing

OPPO announced the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max on October 21 and said the phones would be available globally from late October through official OPPO stores, authorized retailers, and carrier partners. The wording tells buyers that the rollout is broader than one domestic market. It does not list every country, a universal price, or a delivery date for each retailer. The right next step is to open the official store for the country where the phone will be used and check the exact model and sales terms.

TechRadar published a review of the standard Find X10 on the same date. Its page listed the tested phone at £1,099 with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, said it was not available in the United States, and left Australian availability to be confirmed. Those are a UK-market snapshot from the review, not a permanent worldwide map. They show why global in a product launch should not be converted into available everywhere. A regional store can add a country later, but no date should be filled in without a current listing.

The model names separate camera hardware

The series has two phones, and the camera count is a concrete dividing line. OPPO says the Find X10 has a dual 200-megapixel camera system, while the Find X10 Pro Max has a triple 200-megapixel arrangement across its rear cameras. The Pro Max's ultra-wide camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 124-degree lens, while its main camera uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor. The company's headline therefore describes a particular component lineup, not an independent finding that every photo will be better.

The base Find X10 is not a simple low-spec version of the Pro Max. TechRadar’s review unit has three rear cameras and a 6.59-inch display; OPPO’s launch release lists a 6.78-inch display for the Pro Max. Those sizes offer a practical first comparison for hand size and pocket fit. The extra camera on the more expensive model may matter to someone who uses ultra-wide and telephoto framing often. A buyer who mostly photographs people and everyday scenes should check actual samples before paying more because of a megapixel count.

Battery capacity changes with the market

The launch release promotes a battery of up to 8,000mAh in both models, but its footnote says capacity varies by country and region. In certain markets, the Find X10 series has a 7,150mAh dual-cell battery. TechRadar's review identifies 7,150mAh for the UK model and 8,000mAh for APAC markets. That difference is large enough to check before comparing a local phone with an imported one, especially if a listing uses a regional battery figure without saying which variant it describes.

The capacity number alone does not tell a buyer how long the phone lasts. Screen brightness, cellular signal, camera use, gaming, and software all affect daily runtime. OPPO lists 80W wired and 50W wireless charging for both models, but the release does not establish equal wall-clock charging time across every regional charger and outlet. The company also says normal resistance can decline with wear and cautions users not to charge a wet phone. Those conditions matter more than treating the battery headline as a guaranteed all-day result.

ColorOS 17 features have their own rollout map

The Find X10 series debuts ColorOS 17, and OPPO's press release describes AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode, photo editing features, and AI Call Guard. The release says AI Photo Agent will roll out gradually in multiple countries, with monthly usage limits that vary by country or region. It also says AI Call Guard is available in Indonesia, India, and Thailand. These notes make the software part of the regional comparison: a buyer may own the same model name but receive a different feature set depending on where the phone is sold.

OPPO describes ColorOS performance gains, including improved app-launch stability and faster gallery thumbnails, as data from OPPO Lab. They are manufacturer comparisons against ColorOS 16, not independent results. Anyone choosing a phone for one AI feature should check whether the feature is active in their country, what language it supports, and whether it is a launch-day feature or a later rollout. The announcement does not say that every listed AI function is available in every market at once.

Video features come with accessory and software conditions

OPPO lists 4K video at 60 frames per second across the Find X10 rear cameras. The 200-megapixel main and telephoto cameras are also listed for 4K at 120 frames per second and 8K at 30 frames per second. The Pro Max adds a third 200-megapixel rear camera. OPPO also says Blackmagic Camera integration will be scheduled for November, which means it should be treated as a later software arrival from the October 21 release rather than a feature that every buyer already has.

A teleconverter accessory is offered as a way to extend the long-lens camera. The independent review says its reviewer did not test the Find X10 with that accessory, so the accessory's advertised magnification should not be folded into a claim about the phone's built-in optical zoom. The Pro Max also has a separate creator kit with a cooling fan and filter adapter. Those add-ons may help a specific video workflow, but they add cost and bulk. A person who mainly shoots short clips for messaging may not benefit from them.

The UK review price is not a global price

TechRadar lists the standard Find X10 at £1,099 in the UK, in a single configuration with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage. The review says direct OPPO buyers there could choose a Hasselblad teleconverter kit or an OPPO Watch X3 at no extra cost, but the page also notes the U.S. absence and Australian date uncertainty. The offer is tied to that sales channel and period. It should not be copied into a price comparison for a different country.

Before ordering, compare the local full price, storage, charger and case contents, warranty channel, and any promotional gift separately. Review a carrier contract as a total cost over its full term. If importing, include destination taxes and confirm the exact regional model. The sources reviewed here do not provide a complete cross-market price table or a universal warranty policy for these two phones. The official announcement directs buyers to local market announcements for order details.

A useful checklist for an October purchase

Start with the country of purchase, then confirm whether the listing is for Find X10 or Find X10 Pro Max. Check the battery capacity on that specific regional page, the installed storage, the local launch price, and the exact delivery date. If a camera accessory or AI feature is part of the reason to buy, confirm that it ships in the bundle or is available in your market. The official page says the phones will begin global availability in late October; the precise order date still belongs to the local seller.

OPPO’s release gives the broad hardware story and manufacturer claims. TechRadar reviews a Find X10 with the 8,000mAh APAC battery, while the same page separately lists a UK price and publication-time availability. A UK price snapshot does not make that APAC review unit a UK battery configuration. For a purchase, compare the local listing’s model, battery capacity, AI features, and full price.
